Still Alive

Wedding was great. Very beautiful. The pictures will be back mon or tues I hope. We had a great childfree honeymoon weekend at home. I'm very happy to FINALLY be Mrs. Kaufman. Now tomorrow starts the fun work of changing my last name.

Lacey I'll get the magnets mailed out this week sorry it wasn't sooner.

What 6 days?

Today is my bridal shower. Sorry I haven't been blogging much still have stuf to get done for the wedding.

My wedding band came in the mail yesterday and then my best friend Ash took me to buy my wedding night outfit. I'm sure I'm gonna wow Joel even after 9 and half years together.

My mom stopped by to check on my papa yesterday he was in a better mood. they are gonna do radiation for 2 weeks striaght so he wont be able to make it to the wedding. But he told my mama that if I didn't go ahead with my plans he'd check outta the hospital against medical advice and come get my butt. lol

I still haven't printed out the programs. We are honoring my grandmother and Joe's grandfather that have passed away with a candle I'm debating doing one to honor my papa sick in the hospital? Dunno I'll talk to mom about that today.

Joe got a bonus check at work yesterday that was great. we still watching on Eian's ssi, which sucks.

I'm excited about the wedding and the shower today so I better go clean since it's at my house.

Joe did all the cleaning last night for me except dishes. The 1 thing I hate doing lol.

My Mom Started On The Flowers

My mom is going the flowers for my wedding and she started on the bridesmaids flowers last night and finished all but the ribbon

Bachelorette/Bachelor Party Was A Blast

Last night me and my "posse" got dolled up and went to the blind horse. We had a great time. While we was out having a blast the guys were back home having their bachelor party. They had a great time too.

3 Weeks to Plan a Wedding

Most people think I'm crazy. Well they are right. I've been with Joe for almost 10 years on and off. Him asking me to marry him has caught me and everyone who knows him off gruad. Joe has never been the big romantic type. he's the kinda guy who doesn't say I love you ever much. Actually he's only said it a handful of times since we had kids and mostly by accident. *note Joe may not say it but I know he does* So When he asked me to marry him and told me it was up to me I knew I didnt wanna wait . I talked to my mom and she said as long as I gave her 2 weeks we'd be good so I gave her 3 to be safe. just about everything has come together. But not without the help of our family and great friends. Thats the only way we have been able to plan a wedding in 3 weeks. 16 days until the big day and we only have small details to worry about.

I don't got much to say I'm kinda stressed and trying to down size the guest list with a massive head ache and 2 kids that are being bad.

Just wanted to give an update. I got our Rings yesterday

Joe loves his. he's tried it on for all his friends and family. Guess I did good picking it. His is Tungsten since he's sorta rough on everything. Mine is white gold like my engagement ring.

I've Been Neglecting My Blog *SORRY*

I have 22 days til our wedding and I'm working my butt off planning it. running 2 fundraisers, raising 2 kids, cleaning 1 house, trying to keep my mind straight, and so many other things you don't wanna know.


It's still crazy thinking about my wedding . I mean I've been planing my wedding for almost 10 years that Joe and I have been together. But to actually be doing it out loud and asking Joe questions about it. It just seems crazy. Dont get me wrong I am super excited. I just never imagine us as more than what we were and that was complicated lol.

So far we've(I say We've but most was done by me) picked a date August 7th. I have my 5 bridesmaids and he so far has 3 groomsmen. we have our 2 ring bearers (our boys) and a flower girl which is super excited to carry flowers. I started working on designing the invitations they just need some font tweaking. We've pick ceremony music and start on a music list for a dj. So now all we have to do is
find a place to get married
someone to marry us

among other things I can't think of right now

I'm Getting Married!!!

Wow. Let me just say that even today I'm still in shock. Never did I really think Joe would actually ask me to marry him. I mean I've dreamed about it, Prayed for it, ans Hopeed everyday for the last almost 10 years that he would. Did I think it would happen? No to be honest.

Ok lets start yesterday.

Joel came home and I cooked dinner. Nothing big but 1st time I've cooked in awahile. So after dinner Joe got me to come help hi with the dishes. Him washing and me drying. We joked like always. I told him I was gonna take pictures of him washing dishes to put on his myspace page to show the girls. We laughed I told him we better not they might get the wrong impression, and he'd get another like me that hates to clean. So he started cleaning the stove, and I was like wow a man that cleans stoves I gotta get a picture this will help you get a girl in no time. He turns to me towel in hand and holding my ring and says "and to just think I was gonna ask you to marry me" Dawn was shocked. He handed me my ring and says so what do ya say. Well YES!!!! I was still in complete shock he took me by the hand to the living room to sit down. and I think I asked him 2 or 3 thinks if he was sure and that he wasn't joking. He said he loves me and it's time. When ever I want However I want.

After calls to family Me and mama decided that today we are getting busy planning. and I'll be Mrs. Kaufman before the end of August. proli either the 1st or 2nd weekend in August. Something small and inexpensive but nice and something we'll remember.
