Yesterday Was ....

ONE OF THOSE DAYS!!!

Monday is therapy day for E. He has to be there at 10am which means we have to leave at 9am to get there. No biggie be doing it for 2 years now twice a week. Yesterday E woke up at 7am so I put on Shrek so I could work on the computer while Will was sleeping. I noticed he was very quiet, so I looked and he had fell back asleep.

Thats very odd for E cuz once he's awake he goes full force all day long, and he'd only been up 30 minutes tops. So he slept and slept, about 8:44 I got him dressed and he slept through that. I put him and Will in the car and headed to my Grandparents house they had Alex and were gonna keep Will too. E slept the whole 45 minute drive to therapy. I woke him when we got there and he walked in. He didn't wanna eat his breakfast, odd for E too. He went back with Miss Courtney and about 2o minutes later she brought him back out (therapy is an hour long). She said all he did was lay his head on her table. So we left I carried him this time to car. We drove to target to get a baby shower gift. He slept the drive there and only woke up for a minute or two in Target.

He then slept the whole 45 min drive back to my Grandparents house. it was 1pm when we got out there and he had been sleeping pretty much all day. He finally decided to play with Alex and Emily for a little bit. But he still wasn't 100% E.

I had to stop by my MIL's house to trade carseats with her before going home. Well her driveway is a POS. I thought I was clear but I hit the big dip and hit the bottem of my car . I Got my craseat and took my whinney kids home(by this point Alex, E and Will were unhappy). After Joe got home he decided to change oil in the van and he went outside . He came right back in and said my car was leaking oil all over my driveway. FREAKIN GREAT! I cracked my oil pan when I hit the dip. Just my luck. Hopefully he can get it fix today and it wont cost too much. So today for therapy we are taking the van and Joel is driving.

I did come home to find 2 of the products I'm gonna review to giveaway in the mail and also a prize I won. It's a totally awesome Undercover Mama Shirt I won from Crazy House. Be watching hopefully today I'll get another giveaway up.

Tuesday, Tuesday

Tuesdays are speach therapy day. Eian had a good day at speach. I was worried cuz he was fussy when he got up this morning. But Abby said he did great.



We stopped and got donuts after therapy.
Then we headed home and Alex was supper happy to have donuts.

Eian's been so fussy all day I think he's teething.

Speech Therapy Tuesday

E had a great day at speech. Ms. A said she was so happy with him. He was talking and signing. Not once did he cry for mama. I'm so proud of my big boy. He did pee out his diaper while at walmart so I had to buy him a new outfit. Too cute. Also I picked up some fabric for some things I'm gonna start working on. I can't wait to start.

A didn't go to school him and daddy over slept, so they spent the day together. Which is just fine by me. :) He's been doing so good with his potty training. he's in his undies all day and night with only a few accidents every couple days. He likes boxer briefs best but it's so hard to find them for his tush, so I think I might try to make him some while I'm working on Eian a diaper or 2.

I talked to Joel today and he's letting me have my car back and keep it in his name (since my credit wont let me get a loan to put it in my name) he's gonna have new brakes put on it and I have to make the car payment and insurance. Fine by me. I'll be glad to give my mom her car back, Her 4 runner uses too much gas lol. Also we've talked about me and the kids moving back in to help both of us with money. it's not a go yet(and may never be) but it's looking better.

Ok so just ordered E 3 new diapers it was buy 2 custom and get one free. SWEET!!! and some sample packs of hand made laundry detergent, also some cloth wipe solution. I also got some PUL fabric ordered to work on my diapers. I'm so excited now I'm lookin for a wetbag. I think I'm addicted to cloth diapers.

Rainy Saturday Blues

Well once again it's raining here in little old Union. Makes me so sleepy. Well this year is moving along so I'm starting to gear up for Team Eian fundraising. Our goal this year is to raises $1,000 atleast. Last year we feel short by alot. we raised $250, but I gotta say alot was due to personal issuses that came up in my life. And with me pretty much running Team Eian alone, it makes it hard to do things when other stuff come up. But this year we are doing it. I'm already selling the DS Awareness Magnets for $4 and have a few other things lined up.

Eian is doing good his gross motor skills are good infact his PT cut his time from once a week to once a month. His fine motor skills still need help, he works with Mrs.C once a week on that in OT. His speech is good when he wants to talk. He can say anything, he just only does it when he wants to. He has a couple signs that he uses on a daily basis, Mama, Dada, Eat, and he's signed I love you a couple times.

Alex is well Alex. Lol he's good sometime and sometimes he's just Alex. Thats pretty much the only way I can sum it up. He's doing good in school. He has a new girlfriend, her name is Rebecca, she took care of him the other day when he got a booboo. So the teacher told me he asked if he could give her a kiss on the forehead and she let him. Daddies lock up your daughters now. He's back in underwear today as he told me they called him a baby at school cuz he was in diapers. So heres to hoping he's potty trained by age 4 which is coming up really soon. April 19. I can't believe my baby is almost 4.

I'm doing good. Still at home with the boys and still not sure what we are doing about the housing issuse. But other than that all is going ok. I've donated a DS awareness Kit to Renee for her auction to raise money to bring Kellsey home. Also I have a few give aways planed for the up coming weeks.

31 For 21~ A Day at Physical Therapy

Today is Tueday and that means PT bight and early. He did good. Mrs. C worked with him standing at the mirror and reaching for things. He also do some sensory imput on the ball, which he loves. He did really good he only got mad about having to wear shoes, he hates that but we trying to get him used to it. Mrs. C also worked with some binding on his tummy to help him use his abs. He did pretty good with that.

After that we did some running in Spartanburg and I got some cute stickers for Eian's scrapbook at Micheal's.

Great Therapy Day

Today was Eian's 3rd time having PT, and he did so good. My baby is growing up so fast. He did everything she tried with him.

Well good news the boys are feeling better. :) I'll have some video of Mr. E sitting and making faces tomorrow.

Eian had his PT evaluation today he did good. She said he was doing great and was really impressed with all the stuff he's doing. She did say he did have some weaknesses to address ( I knew that) and that he would be worked in the schedule for PT. :) I'm excited for him I think it will be a great help to him I know OT has helped him so much already. She also gave me some tips for helping him at home until he gets on the schedule.

We are still looking for a new place and hopefully we'll have one soon. Other than that all is going ok. Still being here with Joel is awkward, but we are civil. lol

Adventures in Sitting

Ok so Mr. E is getting pretty good at this sitting thing. It seems like everytime I go in the bedroom he's sitting up in his crib. at his normal 2am bottle he woke me up crying hard. seems he had sit up but poor guy was so sleepy he had just folded in half.(if you have a child with ds you know what I'm talking about) and he couldnt get back up. So here is a slide show of some pictures and clips of him sitting and playing with his brother yesterday.

Busy Day!!

Today Eian had OT from 9-10 am and the he had EI from 11-12. We worked on him feeding himself puffs at OT today, he did pretty good he got mad a few times. I spoke with his OT Mrs. C. about him not doing too good with thin liquids and him watching you talk and moving his mouth like he's trying to learn to do it, and she thinks it's time to start speech therapy. So she said she would call his dr to get the referral for ST. He has his PT evaluation this month too. Then his EI Mrs. S. was really shocked at all the new stuff he's doing she's been on vaca for 2 weeks. Next week we are updating our IFSP plan even though our 6 months aren't up he has met all the goal we set for him so we have to set new ones. WOO HOO!!!!!

Then we finally got home and I have alot of boxes of stuff to take to the garage for the Team Eian Yard Sale. We still have no set date or place yet. hopefully by Wednesday we will.

We have also noticed that Eian doesn't sweat so I need to make an appointment for him to see his dr.

Great Day At Therapy

So Eian gets Occupational Therapy every week. He's been going on Wend at 9:30am for 30 mins. so she switched his time this week so now he'll be getting an hour monday at 9am. and he had a great day today.the last few weeks he's gotten fussy when we try to get him to work but today he worked and had a great time. Plus he did something he hadn't done before. He sat unassisted for a few seconds a couple different times. I'm such a proud mommy. he's been working so hard for it. and now he's so close.He also stayed on all fours with support from a boppy pillow while playing with a toy and he didnt bash his head into the toy, like he has been. he actually played with it hitting the buttons to make it play music.He was very clam today and only got worked up a few time. Mrs. Courtney was so proud of him. I swear i think this was his best session since he started. He's finally starting to catch up with his peers, not that it matters to me. I'm proud of my sweetie no matter what.
