E's Birthday Bonanza Review- Little Looster

Potty training is not something I enjoy. In fact most of Alex's potty training was done at preschool. Eian just turned 3 so I decided to give potty training a try. Well turns out E is not where near ready, not a big deal. But for those of you that have children that are ready the product you want is the Little Looster. For all the years when those little legs don’t reach the floor. The Little Looster™, a booster for the Loo is about to change the way we potty train. The perfect potty stool.

Even though Eian doesn't use this yet, Alex and even I do. Our potty is a high one even for me, the Little Looster is awesome. It fits prefect around the potty and doesn't take up alot of room. We have a small bathroom and that is a big plus.

•Made in the USA!
•Mom Created, Child Approved
•100% Recyclable Plastic
•No need to move for adults
•Slides toward toilet
•Perfect for pedestal sinks too.
•Comfort, Confidence. Cleanliness.
•Raised anti-slip letters on top
•8 Rubber rings on bottom for safety
•25 x 18.25 x 8.25
•Holds up to 200 lbs

As an extension of the toilet, the Little Looster never needs to be shuffled around the bathroom. All grown-ups can use the toilet while standing or sitting without needing to move it out of the way.

Little Looster LLC is a Portland, OR based business. The Looster Booster itself was conceived and designed by Monica Mylet, mommy of 3. She came up with the design and need after parenting 3 kiddos through the potty training process. Almost every aspect of the Looster's life cycle from birth-of-concept to design and manufacturing was completed by Oregon based companies. Now that the Mylets have relocated to Florida you can expect to see some Floridian companies getting involved as well.

Follow The Little Looster on Twitter for updates and contest.

* I was sent the Little Looster free of charge to review. The review above is my own honest opinion.*

E's Birthday Bonanza Review & Giveaway #4 Magic Cabin*CLOSED*

Eian recently had the chance to pick an item from Magic Cabin for review. I narrowed it down to a few things and he picked the Personalized Book Rack. He got it in primary colors and I had it personalized with the words "Our Books" since he shares a play room with his brothers.
This clever canvas book rack gives your child easy access to his or her favorite storybooks. Ideal for bedroom or playroom, made of sturdy wood composite, it features 4 deep, easy-to-clean storage pockets made of lightweight canvas. The rack is 28" x 25" x 12" and comes in two color choices, primary and pastel.

Some simple assembly required. It was fairly simple to put together. It took me about 35 minutes as I had a 3 year old helper.

It looks awesome and holds the boys books perfect. It is also very sturdy as Eian has climbed in it many times himself.

Magic Cabin
From our humble beginnings in 1989, to our full-color, full-size catalog of today, Magic Cabin has been guided by the simple notion that children's lives are enriched by ample time for open-ended, creative, imaginative play. We believe in good-old-fashioned make believe and in children's innate need to interact with simple, natural toys and crafts. The words "batteries not included" do not appear in our catalog simply because our toys are "kid-powered." While childhood becomes endangered we pioneer towards protecting this special time in life by conscientiously selecting products that are beautiful and enchanting, sturdy and safe, and best of all, FUN. From Cabin to Company

In 1989 Sara McDonald, a stay-at-home mom, began making natural-fiber Waldorf-style dolls and selling them locally. Inspired by the enchanting cabin in which she was living and working, Sara named her new company Magic Cabin Dolls. As demand for the dolls grew, Sara added doll-making kits and classes to her business roster. Word spread, and she began traveling from coast to coast teaching adults how to make dolls for their own children.

In 1990, after a move from the cabin (in the woods of Minnesota) to a farm on the rolling farmland of Wisconsin, Sara mailed the first Magic Cabin Dolls catalog - a 12-page, black and white catalog that offered 34 doll-related products - to 600 homes. All of the dolls were handmade by Sara, and she and her husband Bill packed and shipped the orders from their farm.

By 1995 the catalog was a thriving business, with employees and doll makers drawn from outside the family. The catalog has continued to grow, and to change, in the ensuing ten years. Toys, games, and crafts have been added to its pages, and its name has accordingly been shortened to Magic Cabin. One thing that has not and will not change is Magic Cabin's dedication to offering "Childhood's Purest Treasures" - unique dolls, toys, and crafts that are heirloom-quality, environmentally friendly, fun to play with, and that, most of all, ignite the imaginations of children.

The Magic Cabin offers so many different play products for children of all ages. You can shop by age or category.

As a mother of 3 boys 5 and under it gets crazy sometime. Especially when out shopping. Eian has hit that "I hate my stroller" stage. I found Tag*A*Long and it is an awesome product. It keeps him close but gives him the freedom he wants.
Tag*a*long is a simple, fun way for kids to walk comfortably next to a stroller. Attaching the tag*a*long requires no tools and will fit on most strollers, providing a dedicated and fun place to hold onto. The tag*a*long is lead as well as bpa free and meets the new CPSC’s CPSIA standards.

This is how it all started
With an idea to make strolling with our walking little man a little easier. A prototype made with supplies found at our local hardware store and testing done in and around the city of brotherly love. We were so excited by what we found- we made more of them. These went to our baby having friends and the rest is- well, found below...
The tag*a*long was designed, developed, and manufactured in the USA by a mom and dad design duo from Philadelphia pa. have fun.

E's Birthday Bonaza Review & Giveway #1- Smiley Cookies*CLOSED*

Who doesn't like cookies? Not Eian!! Eian LOVES cookies, in fact when he was smaller we called him our cookie monster. So for E's Birthday Bonaza Eian got the chance to review Smiley Cookie. When they arrived I was so impressed by the box and the cute smiley faces on the cookies. Eian was impressed (to say the least) with the cookies.

About Smiley Cookie
It started as a half-baked idea more than 20 years ago — a smiley cookie as the vehicle to communicate the ethos of a restaurant — Eat’n Park, the Place for Smiles. Soon our cookie became not just the signifier of a delightful family dining experience, but a symbol of commitment to community and charitable giving, indeed, the mascot of the company. (Who knew a six-foot walking sugar cookie would have such draw. You have to be cracking a smile by now!)

Today, every child that dines at Eat’n Park receives the surprise of a buttery, rich, delicious smiley cookie, totaling more than 1 million free cookie treats each year. Every day, our cookies are distributed to community, charity and fundraising events. Every year, more than 200,000 smiling cookies are donated to local non-profit organizations. That’s a lot to smile about.

Crumb on and Try Our Cookie Delivery Company!

And now, our smile has gotten even bigger with our online cookie delivery company — fresh-baked, hand-iced Smiley Cookies delivered all over the country — fast and fresh. Smiles for miles each and every day!

That’s because our convenient online cookie company makes it easy for you to share a smile with anyone, anywhere, for any occasion. (Note how our cookies take the celebratory shape of hearts, shamrocks, bunnies, jack-o-lanterns and more for holidays and special occasions, and are available in virtually any color combination to sweeten the offer.)

You can even order customized cookies to match wedding colors, sport teams, corporate logos and more, and have your cookies delivered fresh nearly anywhere to as many addresses as you choose! And with our smart cookie pricing, you don’t need to spend a lot of dough! Did we say, “SWEET”?

But the one thing that that remains the same no matter how the cookie crumbles? Our signature, friendly smile — the frosting on the cake (or cookie) so speak.

We trust you’re now addicted to the notion of having fresh smiley cookies delivered to friends and colleagues far and wide, so check back often for contests, polls and coupons — not such a half-baked idea after all! Have cookies delivered today!

FAQ
How Long will they the cookies stay fresh?
As long as they remain in a sealed container, your Smiley Cookies should remain fresh for about a week. They will lose freshness more quickly if left out. However, 20-30 seconds in the microwave will "refresh" a hardened cookie. Additionally, if you’d like to preserve your cookies longer, they can be wrapped and stored in the freezer.

Do the cookies contain Trans-Fat?
No, our Smiley Cookies do not contain any trans-fats.

Are there any allergens contained in Smiley Cookies?
Smiley Cookies contain the following allergens: wheat, soy, egg, and milk.
