On the 2nd. At his check up he was 16lbs 8oz and 26in long. he's growing so good. he also had his cardiologist check up and he did great dr said everything looks good still a small opening but nothing he would worry about. He does want to see him back after he's a year old. I was playing with E after I got him dressed and we where waiting on the dr to tell us we could go I was bouncing him up and down and he got to laughing so loud they heard him in the hall way and the nurses where just a laughing too. He is such a friendly baby just like Alex was(and still is) he doesnt meet strangers.
*Just to make sure everyone knows Eian's heart is fine and has been since the begining he has what is called a patent foramen ovale (PFO) - that is is a defect in the septum (wall) between the two upper (atrial) chambers of the heart. Specifically, the defect is an incomplete closure of the atrial septum that results in the creation of a flap or a valve-like opening in the atrial septal wall. A PFO is frequent in everyone before birth but seals shut in about 80% of people.- Eian's didnt shut but that is common in a lot of preterm births and it usally closes by the time they are 1 years old. *His cardiologist(who I trust) says that even if Eian's doesnt close all the way it's not something he would ever consider doing surgery on, thats how small it is.*
